#469 -- took my first real train rides (besides a subway... not sure if that counts) in April. I was surprised how sensitive to motion sickness I was... felt it coming on too often. Don't look out the window too much! =)
Really!!!? I didn't think of that! Motion sickness is why I can't read on planes, or in the car, or no longer go on rollercoasters, or boats smaller than cruise ships. LOL Huh. Ok, I may have to rethink that. LOL
Oh, that scar sounds so ouchy... I stopped ironing years ago and switched to these Brooks Bros wrinkle-free shirts that hang out... I'm sure they're loaded with cancer-causing whatnot. The other day I saw a quote from a woman who said... she aspires to dress like a load of rumpled, freshly washed laundry... and initially I guffawed, but she had a really great relaxed style, fantastic textures, total dopamine colors. She was so comfortable in her skin--like a decades younger Iris Apfel. I too love napping in my bed... it is the best.
The iron! I can’t believe you still plug it in. I rarely iron. I found the joy of a water spray bottle and flattening out the creases. Martha taught me this years ago. If hubby needs a shirt ironed— that’s on him— or off him if he doesn’t iron it. Hehe.
BWAHA!! I've been living with my parents for nearly 3 years. They're old school. At the time I did that, I was still living at home (the first time). When Sis and I lived together, we used the "wrinkle" option on our dryer. LOL Or the handheld steamer.

Yes, very ouchy. LOL I, too, would love to dress like a load of rumpled, freshly washed laundry. That sounds INCREDIBLY comfy. LOL
