*Means the artist is on my Top 10 Favorite Bands List
Do you like any of these artists? Have you even heard of them? Which songs do you like? Will you be adding them to your own playlist? Inquiring minds want to know. And by inquiring minds, I mean me.
Lit*er*al*ly Ororo is free today. But if you enjoyed this post, you can tell me that my writing is fucking awesomesauce by pledging a future subscription. You won't be charged unless I enable payments.
The Heavy: Not gonna lie… I was watching this show, “Strike Back” for the SERIOUS eye candy. Like, both of the main male characters were FUCKIN’ HAWT.
Imagine Dragons: I would LURVE to see this band live. Lurve that song Battle Cry.
J.R. Richards: former lead singer of the band, Dishwalla. He went solo and tried to do his own thing, but I don’t really know if it panned out. This was the only song I liked from him.
Jackie Wilson: my mom’s favorite artist.
Jeremy Renner: I know what you’re thinking: “That name sounds familiar. Wasn’t the actor who got crushed from that snowplow?” Yes, it’s that Jeremy. “You mean, Hawkeye from “The Avengers” movies?” Yes, that Jeremy. And the dude. Can. Sing. Found out completely by accident when I was reading an article about famous actors who can sing. Click on that “House of the Rising Sun” link and you’ll see what I mean.
John Barry Seven: Now, you know I needed to have the theme song for my main man on my iPod. You see all these other James Bond songs, right? No way I wasn’t going to have The Song in my lineup.
Jordan Knight: Hoo boy! Me and this dude have got some HISTORY. He was my favorite New Kid. So much so that he was plastered on my ceiling! throughout high school.
Julianne Hough & Tom Cruise: Your mind is probably blown right now, right? Second actor on my playlist that sings and you’re thinking “TOM. FUCKING. CRUISE?!!!” I know! I didn’t believe it, either, until I saw the movie. My playlist is carefully curated, so you know that for Tom to end up on this list, I had to be highly impressed. Absolutely LURVED the movie (the Cheese Factor was high! And right up my alley). Click on the link and let me know what you think.
Kanye West: I saw this and thought, “Damn. I forgot about this guy.” Mental health issues aside, I do like these songs.
Linkin Park: my favorite band. I’m still heartbroken that lead singer, Chester Bennington, took his life. He was going through some shit, and you can totally see it in these song titles. I had the opportunity to see them play live ONE TIME and I will treasure that forever. They were SO. FUCKING. GOOD. Just like listening to the CD, but live.
Live: This group is in my Top 5 Favorite Band List. Saw this group in person one time at the state fair in my hometown. And then the lead singer, Ed K (his last name is, like, all the vowels), did an acoustic set at the Musical Instrument Museum (ak the MIM) here in my hometown and it. was. AMAZEBALLS. “Lightning Crashes” is my all-time favorite song.
Lucifer Cast: HAVE YOU SEEN THIS FUCKING SHOW? I need to finish watching it, but I’ve been procrastinating because it’s been cancelled. Tom Ellis is the sexiest fucking devil this side of Hell, lemme tell ya. Go watch this show on Netflix. Right now.
Michele Morrone: The only thing I can say about this SEXY AS FUCK Italian singer/actor is “Unh!” Go watch this movie. And then watch the other two in the series. #luckybitch
You are impressive, Ororo. I'm going to toss out there: Heart "Crazy on You", INXS "Not Enough Time", John Lennon "Happy Xmas" and then introduce you to Lone Justice (so good, start with "Shelter" and "Ways to be Wicked") and Dexys Midnight Runners "Jackie Wilson Said" for fun. xo
