Love this, Ororo. I learned about Apocalyptica back in the day when I saw the film Your Friends and Neighbors, which is kind of dark so that music just drove the film perfectly. Glad you're having fun with this. I got to see Chrissie Hynde play with the LA Phil and it was delightful. Echo and the Bunnymen remain one of my favorite bands for their use of cello. LOL. xo
I saw actress Amandla Stenberg perform the Star Wars theme on violin. I've loved her since that French series "The Eddy" (Netflix). I also once saw a female college gymnast do her routine to a Metalllica song.
Really? That would be interesting to hear. I'm not too familiar with that actress, but I do remember her from some sci-fi movie based off a YA novel. LOL Can't remember the name, obvi.
I believe it was The Hunger Games. If you have a chance, check out The Eddie on Netflix. It only had one season. But I believe that was because it came out right before the pandemic. I really enjoyed that show.
This is so cool! I love when you combine classical and contemporary music. I too played the violin as a kid but it was too hard for me to hold and squeeze the strings so I switched to piano. Thanks for sharing rock orchestra!
How fun! It sounds fantastic. There are many of those candlelight concerts here in Geneva, Switzerland but I've never been. I've often wondered. Now I'm tempted. Do you think there's a Ricky Martin Candlelight? Just kidding. Sort of! Big hugs!! Cesca xx
Sounds like a fun event. I love when my style rock concert comes to town. I was never a big concert goer but if it’s one of five singers or bands that do amazing covers I’m in.

I'll have to check it out. And no, it wasn't The Hunger Games. It was The Darkest Minds. Had to look it up because it would bother if I didn't. LOL

You're welcome. It's starting to become a very cool genre. Don't know what you'd call it, but it's very cool.

It was really fun. They have one for Taylor Swift music so it's not completely out of the realm of possibility. LOL

Glad you had some “me” time.
Indeed. I lurve these moments, too.
