Ororo! The universe needs to give you an effing break now! Enough already. And Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker will always come through with the yellow cake. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery/remission from that damned vertigo. Happy birthday to your father. Sending you all all the best. xo
Your resilience is unmatched! Sending healing, vanilla cake with chocolate frosting filled thoughts. What a stressful day...going to just urgent care is stressful enough, sheesh.
The cake fiasco is hilarious but I'm sure it was quite annoying at the time. Did dad enjoy the frosting?
Meanwhile, how are you? Is this the first time you felt dizzy? Did meds help? My sister went through years of misdiagnosis' for her dizziness. Finally, it was determined she had Arnold Chiari Malformation. Turns out my son had it too, way back when, but his expressed via migraines. I know vestibular therapy helped sis.
Keep us posted. Email me if you want to talk to my sis. She is a wealth of info.
He scraped off the frosting. As did I. LOL I'm better, thanks for asking. And the meds did help, yes. The first time I felt dizzy was when I was still having periods. I was a heavy bleeder and sometimes it felt like I was hemorrhaging, which lead to a diagnosis of severe you-could-use-a-transfusion-at-any-moment anemia. I'm in perimenopause now, no more periods (THANK GAWD), so my levels are normal now.

Sorry about your vertigo--so puzzling about the yellow cake shortage??? Makes you want to bust out the original Betty Crocker recipe: https://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/yellow-butter-cake-with-chocolate-buttercream/b14e1d8b-ceab-4913-a0f2-704e821e47ac but who's got the time? Evidently I missed my calling as a trad wife, lol...
Yellow cake shortage indeed. LOL

Wow. You feeling better?
How was your Dad's birthday?
Betty Crocker....
I am better, thanks for asking. His birthday party was good. Very low-key with only close family friends and family. His acutal birthdate is tomorrow.
